Shipping policy
Orders will be printed and shipped or ready for pickup within 1-2 business days after we receive the order. Note that tracing paper prints may take a couple of extra days, depending on how A0wyn the printer is feeling.
Currently we ship within Canada and to the USA.
(US customers: note that the current situation with US tariffs is evolving. Our prints are made in Canada on Canadian paper, and as of August 29, 2025, may be subject to a tariff by the US government. See details below.)
FREE PICKUP OPTIONS
KITCHENER-WATERLOO
Free local pickup is available just down the street from our printing location, with no minimum order. We are not open for in-person sales.
Flying Squirrel Fine Yarns is now the pickup point for all local orders. You can pick up anytime that they are open, there is no need to make an appointment.
By the time you receive your pickup notification, your order is already at the Squirrel. Prints will be rolled unless you request otherwise.

TORONTO (Riverside Fabrics)
Free pickup is offered available on a delay, with bundles shipping every second Tuesday. All prints will be folded.
Location: Riverside Fabrics, at 1007 Gerrard St E, Toronto (near Gerrard Square)
Ships every second Tuesday, from March 10, 2026, for pickup starting by Friday.
Pickup Monday to Friday, 10am to 8pm, and Saturday to Sunday 11am to 4pm (closed holidays).
Note that after 1pm on weekdays you must make an appointment to pick up, we will send you instructions with your pickup notice.
How to:
- Place your printing order on our website as usual, by 11am on delivery day.
- When you check out, select "Pickup in store" for delivery (not Ship).
- Click on the pickup location to see the other store options. Select the Toronto: Riverside location; the date of the next shipment is shown.
- If there are any order questions or issues, the team here at S&S will contact you. Otherwise, the order will be printed, folded, and shipped with the next bundle!
- You will get a message from us when the package arrives in Toronto, so you know when you can pick up.
LOCAL DELIVERY OPTIONS
Local Delivery is available within Kitchener and Waterloo only. Prints will be rolled. Orders will be delivered within 2 business days, or if received in the morning, may be delivered same day.
Flat rate: $10
Orders $125 or more before tax: free
TRACKED SHIPPING OPTIONS
CANADA
Canada Post is back! Tracked packages typically arrive in 1-3 business days in ON/QC, or 3-5 business days to other provinces. Lettermail typically takes 3-5 business days, but it may take up to 7. At this time, there is nothing we can do about the length of shipping transit time.
Lettermail: $3-$7.50 (prints folded, no tracking or insurance, 1-4 pages)
Tracked Parcel: $14 (prints folded)
Tracked Tube: $16 (prints rolled)
Orders $125 or more before tax: free
USA (all prices listed in US Dollars)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The tariff situation still seems to be in flux, but the shipper we use only charges a brokerage fee for our prints, no tariff (fingers crossed this remains). We pay this fee on our end when shipping, and you will not have any surprise fees at delivery.
Orders to the United States will ship with USPS, with a typical delivery time of 5-15 business days.

Tracked Parcel: $15 (prints folded)

Orders $150 or more before tax: free

Lost & Undelivered Packages
We regret that we cannot assume responsibility for lost or damaged lettermail, however we will do our best to help you locate a missing order.
Orders sent as Tracked Parcels have insurance, and we will refund or re-send the package after opening a claim with Canada Post (or the relevant shipping company). Please contact us as soon as possible if you think your package has gone astray!
