The princess seams are just lovely, skimming the body. I'm delighted to be able to wear it with or without a belt. And the way the skirt kicks out is cute, without being cutesy.
Our notes: I love that Meg compared this dress to a Brownies uniform (she just needs that little pouch and neckerchief). There's a great breakdown for giving just a hint more room in the tummy area, and some thoughtful consideration about fabric weight.
It looks great! The way you styled it is perfect!
Our notes: Oooh, a classic chambray button down shirtdress. Chambray is a wonderful all-year fabric, cool in the summer, and perfect with layers in cold weather.
You look adorable in that shirt!! Your smile says it all.
Our notes: Adorable make, plus a wonderful series of suggestions about sewing for the fuller busted.
I love using things like discarded sheets and curtains for clothing.
Our notes: You would never know that was made from thrifted sheets! Upcycling for the win.
